## Description

Project Umbrella RE:Digest is an independent reference and archival project dedicated to documenting the lore and history of the BIOHAZARD / Resident Evil series. Its stated aim is to uncover obscure information and preserve source material, including research on the franchise’s development. The site organizes a wide-ranging collection of material spanning main-series and spin-off games, adaptations, and related works.

Its archive covers games, films and other CG works, comics, novels, stage productions, drama albums, interviews, and supplemental publications. Visitors can explore editorial features, development histories, cut content, timelines, character information, and analyses of viruses and parasites featured in the series. The site also catalogs guidebooks, art books, airsoft replicas and their manuals, magazines, and other franchise-related materials. Entries address both well-known releases and lesser-documented projects, including unreleased games and mobile titles. By bringing these varied sources together in a structured reference, Project Umbrella RE:Digest helps fans and researchers investigate the franchise’s stories, production history, and broader media legacy.
