Project Vietnam Foundation is a non-profit organization that has been providing medical assistance to Vietnam since 1996. Initially a global program of the American Academy of Pediatrics, it became a separate organization in order to expand its reach and serve the needy families of Vietnam. They focus on underserved areas, particularly ethnic minorities and poor families in remote rural locations.

Their services include surgical corrections for children with birth deformities and eye defects, medical exams and treatment in villages and schools, and training for health personnel at all levels of the medical system. They have also developed long-term programs for newborn health, emergency care, cardiac treatment, and disaster management training. Through their annual medical missions and training programs, they have improved the health of tens of thousands of children and their families.
