## Description

Prometheus Ruitersport is a nonprofit riding association and equestrian centre located in Delft, in the TU district. Supported by volunteers, it aims to make horse riding accessible and affordable for members of different ages and ability levels. The association offers riding lessons, trial lessons, information about lesson times and membership, and a welcoming setting for both riding and non-riding members. Its activities bring together junior, youth and senior riders, as well as parents and other interested visitors, with events that include activities both with and without horses.

The centre also provides pension stabling for privately owned horses. Prometheus Ruitersport places strong emphasis on the welfare and health of its riding-school and pension horses. The horses receive proper care, social contact, turnout in the pasture and spacious, clean stalls, while their workload is monitored to respect each animal’s capacity. Based at Rotterdamseweg 191, the association presents itself as a small-scale community where people can enjoy many aspects of equestrian sport in a relaxed and sociable atmosphere.
