Promise for Haiti is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to demonstrating the love of Jesus Christ by partnering with and investing in local Haitian leaders. Their main goal is to provide the best healthcare and education possible in Haiti. Founded in 1981, Promise for Haiti has been registered as a 501(c)(3) organization since 1982.

Their vision is to serve all people in Central Haiti in the name of Jesus Christ, empowering them with healthcare and education. To fulfill their mission, Promise for Haiti performs various duties such as providing financial assistance for programs, recruiting and supporting volunteers, and offering expertise to establish and maintain self-sustaining operations in Haiti. The organization's history traces back to a promise made by founder Dr.

Guy Theodore to return to Pignon, his hometown in Haiti, and help the sick and dying. This promise became a reality when he founded Christian Mission of Pignon, now known as Promise for Haiti. Under Dr.

Guy Theodore's leadership, the organization has grown to include a 65-bed hospital, six clinics, public health programs, clean water initiatives, education programs, and agricultural and economic development projects.
