Promise Place is a brand dedicated to serving victims of domestic violence and their children in Fayette, Spalding, Pike, and Upson counties. Their mission is to prevent domestic violence through awareness programs, educational training, and providing safe environments for victims and their families. They offer a range of services including legal advocacy, emergency shelters, transitional housing, and support groups.

Additionally, they provide education on domestic violence prevention, including teen dating violence prevention classes offered to 9th-grade students. Promise Place has a rich history, starting as a task force established in 1984 and later becoming the Fayette County Council on Domestic Violence. Over the years, they have expanded their services, opening the Griffin Judicial circuit's first domestic violence shelter in 2007.

Today, they have offices in each of the four counties and provide assistance to over 3,000 individuals annually through their crisis hotline, counseling, financial aid, and community education
