## Description

Pro Natura Terni APS is a nonprofit social promotion association in Terni, Italy, dedicated to protecting and enhancing the natural environment. Founded on 18 October 1969, it works to prevent environmental degradation, pollution and industrial risks, safeguard areas of natural and cultural interest, and encourage responsible planning and respect for nature. The association also supports environmental education in schools, promotes non-consumerist and nonviolent ways of living, collaborates in civil protection activities, and reports unlawful conduct affecting the environment.

Its activities combine public education, practical initiatives and local advocacy. Pro Natura Terni offers courses in horticulture, pruning, gardening and plant diseases, and maintains an expert directory for pruning and gardening. School projects include educational gardens and programs connecting nature, culture and everyday life. The association also organizes nature outings, events, public cleanups and awareness campaigns, and highlights local environmental concerns such as waste, tree stability, air quality, soil and urban development.
