## Description

Pro Positiv Südtiroler AIDS-HILFE ODV is a volunteer organization based in Bolzano, South Tyrol, working to prevent HIV transmission and support people affected by HIV/AIDS. Founded as an association in 1993, it builds on an earlier self-help group established in 1989. Its mission is to provide reliable information, make screening more accessible, promote prevention, and challenge stigma through dialogue. The organization offers HIV screening and rapid-test services, along with information about screening for syphilis and hepatitis B and C. Its work also includes educational activities, prevention events, programs with schools, and support and resources for people living with HIV. Pro Positiv aims to help people make informed choices about prevention while promoting quality of life and dignity for those who are HIV-positive. The team provides a welcoming point of contact for guidance and information. Based at Via Bari 14/C in Bolzano, the association offers weekday morning public hours and afternoon appointments from Monday to Thursday. It also shares news and activities through its website and social media.
