## Description

Prosper Australia is a non-profit membership-based organization dedicated to advocating for a just and equitable society by reforming the tax system. Founded in the early 20th century under the influence of economist Henry George, Prosper Australia aims to ensure that all who benefit from land and natural resources contribute fairly through taxation. Their mission focuses on increasing economic rent in the tax base, shifting the burden from income taxes to taxing unearned profits from land, groundwater, and minerals.

The organization conducts comprehensive research on land and housing issues, engages with policymakers, and educates the public on the importance of land value and its fair distribution. They host various public events and campaigns to drive awareness and support for their vision of a more equitable future. With a legacy spanning over a century, Prosper Australia continues to publish the journal "Progress" while actively advocating for reforms that enhance economic fairness and environmental sustainability in Australia.
