## Description

The English Collective of Prostitutes (ECP) is a dedicated network of sex workers advocating for the decriminalization and safety of the industry. Since its establishment in 1975, the organization has been at the forefront of the fight against oppressive prostitution laws. The ECP works tirelessly to challenge the criminalization of sex work, as well as the stigma and violence associated with it. They have successfully supported sex workers in legal battles against charges such as soliciting, brothel-keeping, and controlling. The ECP aims to empower sex workers to make their own choices and improve their working conditions. They actively campaign against austerity cuts, fighting for housing and other essential resources to offer a pathway out of prostitution. The organization also has an international network, collaborating with sister organizations in Thailand (Empower) and the US (US PROStitutes Collective). Through their work, the ECP strives for the full recognition of sex workers' rights, safety, and dignity.
