## Description

Protech Medical is a family-owned American manufacturer of radiation safety apparel and equipment, established in 1994. The company designs, cuts, and sews its lead aprons in the USA, tailoring garments in-house and offering custom sizing for aprons and table drapes. Its product range includes Proguard and Apollo aprons, vest-skirt styles, thyroid collars, lead glasses, lead gloves, X-ray barriers, table drapes, and pediatric protection. Protech also offers lead-free Nano protection, described as 33% lighter than lead, along with apron customization options, storage solutions, and other radiation safety accessories.

Products are designed for comfort and protection in imaging and fluoroscopy settings. Apron choices include lightweight frontal designs and two-piece styles that redistribute weight to the hips. The company also provides Quickship options for common configurations, with some products shipping in as little as 24 hours. Its eyewear selection includes prescription support through licensed opticians. Protech says its radiation protection products are independently tested and meet ASTM 2547-18 and EN 61331-3:2014 standards, with ISO and CE certifications.
