## Description

**Brand Description: Schweizer Tierschutz STS**

Since its inception over 160 years ago, Schweizer Tierschutz STS has been a pivotal force in promoting animal welfare across Switzerland and Liechtenstein. This dedicated organization is committed to improving the lives of animals through robust advocacy, rigorous oversight, and community support. With a network of 71 local sections, STS operates animal shelters and rescue stations that provide vital services for animals in need.

The STS offers a range of products and services including educational resources on responsible pet ownership, various programs for animal adoption, and legal and veterinary consulting for animal welfare concerns. Their proactive approach includes monitoring animal welfare standards and launching initiatives such as the Tierwohlrating, which informs consumers about the conditions in which animals are raised.

Funded solely by donations, Schweizer Tierschutz STS also organizes volunteer opportunities, fundraising campaigns, and public awareness efforts, ensuring that every contribution helps make a tangible difference in the fight against animal neglect and suffering.
