# Protospiel South - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `protospielsouth.com` ## Description Protospiel South is a board game play test convention that caters to game designers and play testers alike. The convention is open to everyone interested in game design and is focused on providing a collaborative and constructive environment. If you're a designer, bring your prototypes and play test them with other designers, while also offering helpful feedback on their games. Play testers will have the opportunity to learn, play, and provide insights into various types of games. Protospiel South is sanctioned to use the Protospiel name by the organizers of the original Protospiel convention. The event offers a clean space with tables, restrooms, coffee, water, good lighting, and food. Protospiel South also aims to foster cross-pollination among the game design communities in Texas and surrounding areas, providing a platform for networking and sharing ideas. The convention is organized by Jonathan Leistiko, an experienced game designer.
