Provid is a brand that focuses on providing a platform for individuals interested in contemporary theory, with a particular emphasis on Lacanian psychoanalysis. They offer a wide range of theoretical works from renowned thinkers, as well as excerpts from translations of select literary works and analytical articles by Ukrainian authors. The main goal of Provid is to create a corpus of translations in Ukrainian of important works by modern thinkers and to provide readers with well-researched and readable texts.

The project originated from the personal intellectual interests of its founder, Pavel Shved, who was particularly inspired by the works of Slovenian philosopher Slavoj Žižek and Lacanian psychoanalysis. Although the site prominently features Žižekian and Lacanian perspectives, it also encompasses a variety of other names, ideas, and cultural phenomena, ranging from Alain Badiou and Peter Hallward to Susan Sontag and Timothy Snyder, and from postcolonialism to cultural criticism. Provid actively seeks like-minded individuals for project development and encourages collaboration in the form of translations, new articles, and any other relevant contributions.
