## Description

Plastic, Reconstructive & Regenerative Surgery (PRRS) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to scientific research and clinical innovation in plastic surgery. It is the official journal of the Italian Society of Microsurgery and the Italian Society of Plastic Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery, and is published by Pacini Editore in Italy. The journal describes itself as the first global open-access peer-reviewed journal in its discipline with no publication fee.

PRRS publishes research and clinical content across aesthetic, breast, reconstructive and regenerative surgery, with additional coverage of head and neck, lower-limb, microsurgical, hand and peripheral nerve, and craniofacial and pediatric topics. Its articles include original studies, reviews, case reports, editorials and letters to the editor. Recent examples address breast reconstruction, flap techniques, vascularized composite allotransplantation and pressure-injury reconstruction.

The journal provides online access to current and archived issues, including full-issue PDFs, and invites authors to submit articles. Its website also offers information for readers, authors and librarians, alongside editorial, submission, privacy and contact details.
