## Description

The People's Solar Energy Fund (PSEF) is a dedicated nonprofit organization committed to empowering BIPOC and low-income communities through community-owned solar initiatives across the United States. Founded in 2018, PSEF unites various nonprofits, cooperatives, and tribal organizations, pooling resources to enhance access to clean energy while fostering local leadership. The fund focuses on reducing financing costs, improving project performance, and minimizing risks, vital for sustainable community-driven solar solutions.

PSEF offers a range of services, including funding, technical assistance, and shared resources, aimed at equipping community organizations with the tools necessary for successful solar projects. The organization emphasizes the importance of equitable access to renewable energy, ensuring that frontline communities benefit from economic and health improvements associated with clean energy. By supporting cooperative models and local ownership, PSEF not only mitigates energy cost burdens but also revitalizes local economies, ultimately paving the way for a more sustainable and resilient future. Join PSEF to become part of this transformative movement for energy justice.
