## Description

The Asociación Colombiana de Psiquiatría (ACP) is a professional association based in Bogotá, Colombia, committed to its members, the scientific community, the health sector, and the wider public. Its stated priorities include meeting its statutes, supporting member satisfaction, and continuously improving its management. The association brings together psychiatric specialties through chapters including Child Psychiatry and Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, and provides information about its leadership, committees, membership, employment opportunities, and professional community.

ACP offers educational and professional resources through webinars, events, certificates, a psychiatrist and allied-professional directory, and its publications, including Revista ACP and Cuadernos de Enlace. Its online library includes practical mental-health toolkits covering depression, grief, and support for people who help others. The association also shares guidance for journalists on communicating about mental health and materials related to suicide prevention. Through conferences and calls for research presentations, ACP encourages professional exchange on mental health, including the wellbeing of children and adolescents. Members can access an online account and manage annual membership payments through the website.
