## Description

The Polish Economic Society (Polskie Towarzystwo Ekonomiczne, PTE) is a nationwide organization bringing together people interested in economics, research and economic practice. Through its national board and regional branches, it connects academic institutions, public bodies, businesses and the wider economic community. Its activities include conferences, seminars, debates and congresses addressing current economic and social issues, as well as the Economics Knowledge Olympiad and awards for significant contributions to economic theory and education. PTE also supports members through membership services and opportunities to participate in its events and initiatives.

The Society publishes and promotes economic knowledge through journals such as Ekonomista, Biuletyn PTE, Catallaxy and Equilibrium, alongside academic series, books and other resources.
