## Description

PublicChristian is a Christian blog focused on the relationship between faith, justice, and public life. Its guiding themes include love for all people, ethical action, and engagement with the teachings of Jesus and the Hebrew prophets. Drawing on the call to do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with God, the site challenges readers to examine how Christian beliefs are understood and practiced.

The blog publishes essays, reflections, book discussions, and commentary on topics including economic and social justice, democracy, political movements, biblical interpretation, prayer, spiritual practice, and resistance to authoritarianism. Recent articles consider Christian hypocrisy, the Bible’s teachings on justice, the influence of evangelical politics, and ways to sustain hope and compassion amid political conflict. The site also highlights writers and thinkers such as Naomi Klein, Timothy Snyder, and Pauli Murray, connecting their ideas with questions of faith and civic responsibility.

PublicChristian offers a mix of religious reflection and current-affairs analysis for readers interested in a more humane, justice-oriented expression of Christianity.
