## Description

The Public Domain Review is an online journal and not-for-profit project that explores the captivating works of art, literature, and ideas from history. Founded in 2011, their focus lies on works that have fallen into the public domain, allowing everyone to enjoy, share, and build upon them without any restrictions. Acting as a gateway to an immense network of archives and storage rooms, their goal is to promote and celebrate the vast abundance and diversity found within the public domain. With a keen eye for the surprising, the strange, and the beautiful, The Public Domain Review curates an ever-growing cabinet of curiosities for the digital age. They offer a range of services including the publication of long-form essays by leading scholars and artists, the curation of collections that showcase curiosities from online archives, and a publishing project that releases beautifully designed books and reprints of public domain material. Additionally, they sell high-quality prints of selected works to support their project. Join their community and explore the rich terrain of our shared cultural commons.
