Puddle Jumpers Workshop is a parent-run cooperative nursery school that offers a unique educational experience for children and parents alike. Founded in 2008 by a group of parents, it is a non-profit, non-sectarian, and democratic organization. At Puddle Jumpers Workshop, parents actively participate on a rotating basis, serving as assistants to professional nursery school teachers.

This involvement not only allows parents to contribute to their child's education but also helps keep tuition costs affordable. As a parent-staffed cooperative pre-nursery, Puddle Jumpers Workshop provides a smooth transition from home to school by fostering a sense of community among families and offering professional activity leaders. The school accommodates 12 to 15 member families, with up to eight children attending daily.

Each day, at least two parents are on duty, and an Activities Coordinator is present. The school is proudly managed, funded, and maintained by its members. Puddle Jumpers Workshop follows the Reggio Emilia approach to early childhood learning, emphasizing free play, positive learning experiences, unconditional caring, and good nutrition.

They strive to maintain a child-centric, inclusive, and nurturing environment, where conflicts are resolved through redirection and engaging activities. Dedicated to diversity and inclusivity, Puddle Jumpers Workshop admits students of any race, color, national, and ethnic origin. They offer a wide range of programs and activities, ensuring that every child feels welcome and valued.
