With a mission to diminish the role of nuclear arms in international politics and ultimately eliminate them, Pugwash was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1995. Through dialogue and collaboration across divides, Pugwash aims to promote evidence-based policymaking and increase the security of all sides. By organizing track 1.5 and track II dialogues, Pugwash fosters creative discussions on ways to enhance global security and develop cooperative and forward-looking policies. In addition to addressing nuclear and WMD risks, Pugwash also focuses on other critical issues such as climate change, environmental deterioration, and resource scarcity. Their ideas and proposals are shared with decision-makers and the general public through various channels, including their website, publications, and personal interactions with political leaders. Pugwash is committed to their goal of a world free of nuclear weapons and other forms of armed conflict. ## Industries - 🎗 Community and Society - ⚖️ Law and Government - ⚖️ National Security _(under Law and Government)_ - 🎗 Philanthropy _(under Community and Society)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idahGKL1xX/w/512/h/512/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1780570805623) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Black Pearl | #03060d | dark | | Cararra | #ecece8 | light | | Royal Blue | #3858e9 | accent | ## Fonts - Helvetica Neue — asset _(custom)_ - sans-serif — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
