## Description

Pulse is a free, open-source infrastructure monitoring platform from Pulse Monitoring Ltd. It brings Proxmox, Docker, Kubernetes, TrueNAS, vSphere, Ceph and standalone machines into one self-hosted workspace, with dedicated views for each platform. Proxmox is monitored through its API, while a single agent automatically detects other services and host details. Users can track nodes, virtual machines, containers, workloads, storage, backups, snapshots and replication, alongside persistent metrics and configurable history.

Pulse provides threshold-based alerts designed to reduce repeated notifications, with delivery through services including Discord, Slack, Telegram and email. Its optional Patrol feature checks for issues that may escape configured rules, such as capacity growth, backup failures and differences between nodes. Pro plans add investigations and proposed fixes, which run only according to the user’s approval policy and are verified and logged. The product also offers mobile access, remote access and push notifications through paid options. Community monitoring runs locally and can work offline after setup. Paid plans start at $39 per year, with Business and MSP plans also available.
