## Description

The Circleville Pumpkin Show is a long-running community festival held each October in Circleville, Ohio. Described as Ohio’s oldest festival and the “Greatest Free Show on Earth,” it draws more than 400,000 visitors to the city and showcases the region’s pumpkin-growing heritage. The four-day event features displays of more than 100,000 pounds of pumpkins, squash, and gourds, along with contests for produce, baked goods, flowers, art, home arts and crafts, canned goods, and more. Visitors can enjoy seven parades, live entertainment, a marching-band performance, amusement rides, and classic pumpkin treats, including pies and donuts. Admission to the Show is free, while ride tickets and wristbands are sold separately. The official website provides event schedules, contest registration, parade information, maps, visitor details, live webcams, photo galleries, and virtual tours of exhibits. It also offers information about the Official Show Pin design contest, shuttle services, and Pumpkin Show Park, where the stage, covered seating, electricity, and other facilities are available for event rentals. The 120th Show is scheduled for October 20–23, 2027.
