## Description

Parapharma Tech, founded in 2010, is dedicated to improving dietary options for those with swallowing difficulties, particularly infants and children. Their flagship product, Gelmix, was developed in partnership with pediatric gastroenterologist Dr. Enrique Hernandez. It offers a healthier alternative to traditional thickeners such as cereals, which often exacerbate conditions like reflux and can harm infant digestive health. Gelmix is the only USDA Organic thickener specifically formulated for infants, recognized for its effectiveness in thickening breast milk or formula without unnecessary calories or bulk.

In 2018, Parapharma Tech expanded its line with Purathick, an organic thickener for hot and cold beverages, catering to adults and children over one year old. Both products are designed to assist individuals with dysphagia or swallowing issues, ensuring safe and enjoyable consumption of liquids. Parapharma Tech remains committed to developing high-quality, health-conscious products while advocating for better dietary practices in pediatric and adult nutrition.
