## Description

Purr 'n' Fur, established in late 2003, is a beloved online haven for cat enthusiasts, created by a lifelong duo of cat lovers. It features a diverse array of resources that cater to feline aficionados. The website encompasses several unique sections, including "Famous Felines," which tells the captivating stories of notable cats like Street Cat Bob and HMS Amethyst's Simon, the only cat awarded the Dickin Medal. In "Featuring Felines," visitors can explore tales of less-known, yet charming cats from various local backgrounds.

The site also showcases "Feline Philately," illustrating domestic cats on postage stamps, and a playful "Feline Fun" section filled with jigsaw puzzles, quotes, and amusing cat photos. Purr 'n' Fur recognizes cats in culture through "Fabled Felines," highlighting their presence in legends and festivals. Though the site is currently in hibernation, it remains a valuable resource for cat lore and continues to thrive on its Facebook page. Join the community to celebrate the joy cats bring!
