## Description

Pusteblume e.V. is a family-led, state-recognized forest and nature kindergarten in Schwabach, Germany. Founded by a group of committed families, it has offered children aged three and older an outdoor setting for play, discovery, and personal development since September 2018. The kindergarten serves approximately 20 to 25 children and is shaped by the idea that time in nature encourages curiosity, imagination, and independence.

Its daily approach balances clear routines and rules, which help children feel secure in a changing outdoor environment, with freedom to make choices and take responsibility. Free play is central: children explore the forest, use available tools, and create their own playthings from natural materials rather than relying on ready-made toys. They can play alone or together, choose places to play, and take part in helpful roles within the group.

Pusteblume also values connections among children, families, and staff through shared activities, including parent days and woodland work.
