Providence Student Union is a youth-driven organization dedicated to improving education and well-being for students in Providence, Rhode Island. Established in 2010, it all began when students from Hope High School united to protect their school's popular block schedule. Since then, Providence Student Union has expanded to include chapters in multiple high schools, working collectively to advocate for student rights and a fair education system that values and respects students.

The mission of Providence Student Union is to empower students and amplify their voices. Through leadership development and organizing, they nurture young people to become advocates for justice in all forms. Students are at the forefront of their campaigns, addressing issues such as racist discipline practices, lack of student involvement in educational decision-making, and inadequate school facilities and resources.

Providence Student Union invites both adults and students to join their movement. Adults can support student organizing through the Huddle program, while students can become members, participate in events, and sign petitions to advocate for the Student Bill of Rights. By joining forces, we can create a future where young people are respected and provided with a quality education.
