## Description

PyroGenesys is a pioneering bio-energy technology start-up founded in 2017. They have developed an innovative containerised waste to energy system called Pyrochemy, which utilizes pyrolysis, an advanced thermal technology, to generate electricity. With their cutting-edge solution, PyroGenesys aims to bring renewable energy to off-grid communities in Sub-Saharan Africa. Interestingly, a significant portion of the global population without access to electricity resides in farming communities in this region. PyroGenesys recognizes the immense potential for agricultural waste in these communities to be converted into surplus electricity, process heat, and biofuels, thereby making them energy self-sufficient. The company is committed to developing affordable and environmentally-friendly technology to transform the way communities in Africa, particularly Nigeria, receive electricity. Their vision is to drive the green economy and the development of carbon neutral technologies that convert agricultural and biomass waste into green energy and renewable biofuels and products. With a dedicated team and a mission to be a leader in clean energy production, PyroGenesys is focused on offering process design, installation, and commissioning services to convert biomass waste streams into renewable energy and biofuels in a socially, economically, and environmentally responsible manner. By reducing greenhouse gas emissions and providing carbon negative solutions, PyroGenesys is poised to make a significant and lasting impact on Africa's energy landscape.
