## Description

Q-uestion is an organisation that represents and supports people affected by Q fever in the Netherlands. It was established in response to the major outbreak that began in 2007, when an estimated 50,000 to 100,000 people were infected. More than 4,000 became seriously ill, and many continue to experience lasting effects. Q-uestion works to ensure that those affected are heard and receive recognition for what they have endured. The organisation advocates for apologies, appropriate medical care, practical assistance, ongoing support and clear information. Its website provides information about Q fever, including its history, acute illness, long-term symptoms and impact, as well as updates on legal proceedings and related matters. Q-uestion also helps people find care and connect with others through peer groups, gatherings and events. It shares news, newsletters and information about scientific research and advocacy. People can learn about the organisation’s mission, activities and services, become members, attend meetings or contribute to its work through donations.
