Description
Quantitative-Data for Decision-Making (Q4D) Lab is a non-profit organization in Liberia, founded by a team of local and international scientists. Our mission is to promote awareness of quantitative global health research and build the capacity to conduct such research at the frontlines. We work towards developing context-informed approaches to data collection and use, recognizing constraints and opportunities for more sustainable efforts towards data-driven decision-making in Liberiaโs health sector.
Our organization offers courses in R coding, biostatistics, and mathematical modeling, aiming to enhance research skills and provide mentorship opportunities in these fields. By engaging with quantitative researchers, we aim to instill new standards for future data-driven activities and inspire demand for quantitative research skills and tools within the public health sectors of West Africa.
Our vision is to see everyday public health decisions informed by locally generated quantitative evidence, and we are dedicated to achieving this by providing the necessary training and resources. Contact us to learn more about our work and how we can collaborate to advance quantitative research in global health.
