## Description

QBotix is a robotics company that brings together the advances of the last several decades in both solar power and rugged and intelligent robotics. Our mission is to develop innovative products that offer a compelling mix of competitive cost, high reliability, easy installation, superior performance, universal compatibility, and unprecedented system level intelligence. With our products, customers can reduce their cost of ownership while increasing profit margins and investment returns in solar power plants. Our first product, the Robotic Tracking System (RTS), takes advantage of the paradigm of Solar Robotics, replacing conventional electromechanical components with autonomous, rugged, and intelligent robots. This not only reduces structural material requirements but also allows for the creation of new, cost-effective system level architectures that enhance performance and reliability. The RTS delivers dual-axis tracking performance at installed costs similar to single-axis, increasing energy production and decreasing installed costs for the lowest Levelized Cost of Electricity (LCOE) among mounting or tracking systems. Founded in August 2010 by a group of innovators from Caltech and Stanford, QBotix is now headquartered in Menlo Park, California. Our team consists of leading robotics, mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, as well as industry veterans from respected companies in solar and technology industries.
