## Description

QDNL is the national initiative championing the growth and continued development of a world-class quantum technology ecosystem in the Netherlands. It brings together research, industry, entrepreneurs, talent and communities to help turn the country’s strengths in quantum science into practical technologies, commercial companies and applications that deliver economic value and societal impact.

The initiative supports collaboration and innovation across the ecosystem, connecting business and industry challenges with potential quantum solutions. Its work spans research and technology, ecosystem development, talent, and societal impact, including efforts to align social readiness with technological progress. QDNL also highlights approaches that help organizations explore quantum technology opportunities and assess their potential effects responsibly, such as the Exploratory Quantum Technology Assessment.

Through events, educational experiences and community initiatives, QDNL helps make quantum technology more accessible and fosters connections within the Netherlands and internationally. Its activities include Quantum Meets, a gathering for the Dutch and global quantum communities, and support for inclusive networks such as We in Quantum Development.
