## Description

Quai des Créateurs is an association based in Commequiers, in France’s Vendée department, dedicated to showcasing French craftsmanship, with a particular focus on local makers. For nearly six years, it ran an association-led boutique where more than 200 creators had the opportunity to present their skills and work in a distinctive setting. The shop closed permanently on October 28, 2023, but the association stated that it would continue its activities through events. Its sixth Christmas market was announced for December 9, 2023, offering local creators, artists, and producers a place to exhibit and meet visitors. The market was scheduled from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the parking area of the former railway station in Commequiers. Quai des Créateurs invited prospective exhibitors to get in touch by email and shared updates through its Facebook page and Instagram account. The association’s work centers on connecting the public with original, locally rooted products and the people who make them.
