## Description

Quantum ESPRESSO is an open-source software project advancing quantum simulations of materials and making computational tools accessible to researchers and learners. Its integrated suite of computer codes supports electronic-structure calculations and materials modeling at the nanoscale, using density-functional theory, plane waves, and pseudopotentials. The project provides software downloads, documentation, pseudopotentials, learning resources, developer guidance, benchmarks, and a test suite. Users can explore its ecosystem, cite the software, and connect with others through community forums and mail archives. Quantum ESPRESSO is developed collaboratively by an international community of contributors, with support from public institutions and private companies. The project also shares news, events, workshops, and information about research papers and software developments connected to its tools. Registered users can download the codes, while developers and supporters can contribute to their continued growth. Through these resources and its global community, Quantum ESPRESSO serves people working in computational physics, materials science, and related fields who need open tools for investigating materials at the atomic scale.
