Quartz Water Source is a brand that is dedicated to addressing the global water crisis by expanding access to clean water worldwide. It all started in 2014 when Flint, Michigan became the epicenter of this crisis, exposing over 100,000 residents to highly elevated lead content. Experts agreed that this exposure could have been prevented with a daily cost of approximately $100, covering additives to coat the water supply pipes. 

In 2019, during a business trip to Israel, Quartz's Founder & CEO, Jonathan "JQ" Quarles, discovered Atmospheric Water Generation (AWG) technology. Recognizing its immense potential, JQ knew he had to bring this technology back to Flint and other American cities struggling with clean drinking water.

After a year of thorough research, strategic planning, and assembling the right team, Quartz Water Source officially launched in August 2020. Their commitment includes providing clean water to communities in need, giving back through their donor-advised fund, and raising awareness about the global water crisis.
