## Description

QueensCare is a charitable organization working to improve access to healthcare for underserved communities across Los Angeles County. Founded more than a century ago by the Franciscan Sisters of the Sacred Heart, it continues a legacy of compassionate service through charitable grants, scholarships, and support for inpatient healthcare. Its affiliate, QueensCare Health Alliance, delivers free medical, dental, vision, mental, and spiritual care through mobile and community-based programs.

Services reach people at schools, social service organizations, places of worship, and community pop-up clinics. The Health & Faith Partnership offers health screenings and connections to local healthcare resources. The Mobile Dental Program provides exams, X-rays, cleanings, and treatment for patients through age 26, while the Mobile Vision Program offers eye exams and prescription glasses. The Mental Health Program provides individual and family therapy for youth and adults through age 26, in person or via telehealth. QueensCare also offers scholarships for students pursuing healthcare careers and funding opportunities for nonprofits expanding access to care.
