## Description

Queensferry Rowing Club is a community rowing club based at Port Edgar Marina in South Queensferry, Scotland. Affiliated with the Scottish Coastal Rowing Association, the club is part of a wider network promoting coastal rowing and racing across Scotland. Its two St Ayles skiffs, Ferry Maid and Ferry Lass, provide opportunities for members and newcomers to enjoy friendly and competitive rowing on local waters. The club welcomes anyone interested in trying the sport, with open sessions held on Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year, weather and tide permitting. During summer, additional sessions take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Queensferry Rowing Club also hosts events such as its regatta and club expeditions, and shares information about rowing schedules, training resources, safety procedures, and tide and weather conditions. Members can access club kit and take part in fundraising activities, while the club’s news and social channels keep the community connected. Newcomers are invited to attend a regular session or contact the committee to learn more about joining in.
