## Description

Matthew L. Riemer and Leighton Brown are queer history experts, authors, and the creators behind the Instagram account @lgbt_history. Their work shares stories and resources about LGBTQ+ history and liberation with readers, audiences, and organizations. Their website offers information about their speaking and consulting services, which are available to schools, companies, nonprofits, and other organizations.

Riemer and Brown are the authors of We Are Everywhere: Protest, Power, and Pride in the History of Queer Liberation. Visitors can explore reviews, purchase copies, and find options for signed books. The site also features an expanding list of recommended books on queer subjects, along with media materials and information about the authors.

Riemer is currently writing a history of Sylvia Rivera’s life and times, and the authors invite people with relevant information to contact them about the project. Through their books, public appearances, consulting, and online presence, Riemer and Brown make queer history accessible and encourage engagement with the people and movements that shaped it.
