## Description

The Quekett Microscopical Club is a UK registered charity and an international organisation for amateur and professional light microscopists. It welcomes people at all experience levels, from beginners discovering the microscopic world to experienced practitioners seeking to develop their skills and share their interests. The Club offers a varied programme of lectures, meetings, excursions, field events and family-friendly outreach activities, alongside regional groups and opportunities to take part in citizen science. Its educational resources cover compound and stereomicroscopes, microscopic life, antique instruments, digital photomicrography, image stacking and stitching, and practical techniques such as Köhler illumination. Members can access meeting reports, lecture videos, slide collections, photography galleries, a library and other resources. The Club also publishes the Quekett Journal of Microscopy and the Bulletin of the Quekett Microscopical Club, and offers books, USB resources and items through its shop. Through its events, publications and online guidance, the Quekett helps people learn microscopy, make images, explore specimens and connect with a community of enthusiasts.
