## Description

Quest529 is the Kansas 529 Education Savings Plan, offered by the State of Kansas and managed by TIAA-CREF Tuition Financing, Inc. Formerly known as Learning Quest, the plan helps families save for education through tax-advantaged investment accounts. Funds can be used for qualified expenses at eligible colleges and other higher education institutions nationwide, as well as certain K–12 expenses and registered apprenticeship programs. Account holders can choose from enrollment-year, multi-fund, and individual-fund portfolios designed to suit different goals and risk preferences. The plan highlights low investment fees, tax-free earnings on qualified withdrawals, and potential Kansas state income tax deductions for eligible contributions. Kansas families may also qualify for matching contributions through the KIDS Matching Grant Program. Quest529 provides account-opening resources, planning tools, educational webinars, consultations, forms, and mobile account access through the ReadySave 529 app. The plan reports more than 25 years of helping Kansas families save and serves over 96,000 students.
