Questar III BOCES is a leading provider of educational and administrative services in Rensselaer, Columbia, and Greene counties. BOCES, which stands for Board of Cooperative Educational Services, was established by the State Legislature in 1948 to provide shared educational programs and services. Questar III BOCES was formed in 1977 through the merger of multiple BOCES in the area and has since become a symbol of cooperative leadership. The services provided by Questar III include career and technical education, special education, pre-K programs, and affordable management and administrative services such as grant writing and financial planning.
