## Description

Quest Outside creates digital outdoor guidebooks designed to help people explore trails with practical, locally curated information. Its Squamish MTB Guidebook, curated by Ollie Lowthorpe, presents mountain bike rides he personally selects, rides, and documents across the Squamish trail system. Lowthorpe is described as a verified guide, sponsored rider, and coach with 10 years of experience riding in the area.

The guidebook focuses on sanctioned trails and covers intermediate to expert riding. Each route includes full point-of-view footage from top to bottom, segment statistics, Lowthorpe’s notes, trailhead directions, and offline navigation tools. Riders can download topo maps, follow GPS tracks, and review route details before setting out, even where mobile service is unavailable. Free demo routes let users try the experience before purchasing.

The guidebook is available through the Quest app for iOS and Android. It costs $30 as a one-time purchase, with no subscription. Quest says Lowthorpe receives the majority of each sale, while a portion supports SORCA, which builds and maintains local trails.
