## Description

Quimser S.A. is a leather-chemicals company with a history dating back to 1966. It develops and manufactures products for multiple stages of leather production, with a focus on high-quality and more sustainable solutions. Its portfolio includes beamhouse chemicals for processes such as soaking, liming, deliming, bating and pickling, as well as tanning, neutralising and retanning agents. The company also supplies fatliquors to lubricate and soften leather, and finishing products including waxes, pigments, oils, touch agents and resins. Quimser’s products are designed for different leather types and applications, supporting properties such as softness, fullness, colour uniformity and ease of processing. Its range includes SERTAN WT, a tanning product promoted for its biodegradability and compostability, alongside other specialised products for bating, deliming, oiling and leather filling. Quimser says it is developing products in response to environmental requirements and market trends, and highlights its contribution to more eco-friendly leather production. Its sustainability initiatives include products described as biodegradable, renewable or compostable, and ZDHC-related product standards.
