## Description

Quincy Bay Race Week Association is a sailing organization serving the South Shore of Massachusetts, with a tradition dating to 1937. Representing eight yacht clubs—Braintree, Metropolitan, Quincy, South Shore, Squantum, Town River, Wessagussett and Wollaston—the association brings sailors from local coastal communities together for an annual celebration of competition, youth and maritime life.

Its signature event, Quincy Bay Race Week, offers racing for a range of ages and experience levels. Junior sailors aged 8–18 compete on the Inside Line in boats including C420s, N10s, Lasers, Optis and Widgeons. More experienced sailors race on the Outside Line in classes such as C420s, Hustlers, Stars and Thunderbirds. The association provides event schedules, registration information and race results for both divisions.

Beyond racing, Quincy Bay Race Week Association supports students through annual scholarships for higher education, with awards available to students from its participating yacht clubs. It also hosts social gatherings, including a junior social and a senior rendezvous, helping club members connect and sustain the community around sailing.
