## Description

Quinta da Espada is a rural tourism accommodation set in the Alentejo countryside, about four kilometres from Évora, Portugal. The estate occupies a traditional regional country house, or “monte,” and combines a peaceful natural setting with convenient access to the UNESCO-listed city. Its history dates to 1822, when it was registered as Quinta do Barão de Cacilhas; the estate later took its current name, linked to a local tale about the sword of Geraldo Geraldes, known as “the Fearless.” A historic aqueduct built in 1531 crosses the property.

The accommodation includes guest rooms and apartments. Three bedrooms have private bathrooms and central heating. Two larger apartments each offer two double bedrooms with private bathrooms, a living room with a fireplace, and a kitchenette. A smaller apartment has one bedroom, a private bathroom, a sofa bed, a fireplace, and a kitchenette. Apartments are equipped with cable television and air conditioning. The property offers stays priced by room or apartment, with options suited to couples, families, and visitors seeking a restful countryside base for exploring Évora and the surrounding region.
