Quinta Ola is a feminist association with no political affiliation. Their main goal is to promote, defend, and safeguard the rights of girls, adolescents, and women in their diversity. They achieve this through various educational, communication, cultural, advocacy, and research activities. The association also aims to empower girls, adolescents, and women in all aspects of their lives. Quinta Ola's programs are characterized by diversity and exchange, where social actors from different disciplines share their experiences and perspectives with girls and adolescents to work in spaces of political advocacy. Among their programs, Las Micaelas Solidarias promotes the integration and peaceful coexistence of migrants and host communities through sports and leadership empowerment for girls and adolescents. Voces Activistas empowers Peruvian, migrant, refugee, and asylum-seeking adolescents and young women aged 15 to 20. LALAS strengthens the knowledge and initiatives of activism for 100 diverse, Peruvian, and Venezuelan adolescents and young people at the national level. Quinta Ola also offers programs like Chamas en Acción that empower adolescents in the fight against violence and defending their rights, and GirlGov Perú, which strengthens the political empowerment and leadership capabilities of 100 diverse girls and adolescents throughout Peru. Additionally, their website features articles written by program participants that provide a youth perspective on various topics. Quinta Ola is a revolutionary space created by three feminist activists to support the rights and empowerment of girls, adolescents, and women.
