## Description

Raag-Mala Toronto is a Toronto-based organization dedicated to sharing Indian classical music, with a particular focus on Raag Sangeet. In 2026, it celebrates 46 years of uninterrupted programming, making it one of North America’s longest-serving organizations focused on this musical tradition. Its concert seasons, recitals, and festivals connect audiences with acclaimed artists from Toronto and India.

Alongside live performances, Raag-Mala offers free online content, including artist interviews and conversations exploring classical music from Northern India. Past initiatives include the Sarbari Roy Chowdhury Festival of Music, presented with four days of recitals, and support for the Swara Samrat Festival, which featured 18 concerts and 36 artists. The organization also collaborates with cultural and educational partners, including the Consulate General of India in Toronto and the University of Toronto’s Massey College.

Raag-Mala’s programming is supported by volunteers, the Ontario Arts Council, donors, benefactors, and patrons. The public can take part by attending concerts, becoming a member, exploring its articles and online performances, or making a donation.
