## Description

Vastelaoves Vereiniging de Rabbedabben is a carnival association serving the Limburg villages of Haler and Uffelse. It brings residents together through seasonal celebrations, performances, parades, and community traditions, sharing news and photographs on its website. The association’s program includes the annual carnival parade through Haler, a lively Bóntje Aovendj featuring local performers, prince and princess announcements and receptions, and key ceremonies where local leaders hand over the town keys to adult and youth carnival representatives. Its youth council is an important part of the festivities, with activities such as performances, village visits, and seasonal fundraising.

The Rabbedabben also celebrates alongside neighboring carnival groups, including the Serdelhunj and Moerebuuk, and publishes a local carnival newspaper, the Vastelaoves Gezét. New residents of Haler can order the association’s carnival flag for €17.50 or a Rabbedabbe figurine for €22.50, with delivery available within the village. The website provides event updates, program information, photo galleries, membership details, and contact information, helping residents and visitors follow the association’s activities throughout the carnival season.
