## Description

Race Horology is an open-source timing and results-management program for racing sports, with a primary focus on alpine ski competitions. Designed as a modern, straightforward alternative to older timing software, it aims to make race timing and evaluation easier and faster to manage. Its functions are based on those of DSVAlpin, a widely used program in German-speaking regions, and Race Horology is designed to remain compatible with DSVAlpin and DSVAlpinX, allowing users to switch between them. The software supports ALGE TdC8000 and TdC8001 timing computers, the ALGE Timy, Alpenhunde Timing, and most Microgate timing devices. Recent updates and project news include an improved results list for the penalty rule, a certificate designer, a referee report, and a prototype Microgate connection. The website also provides downloads, preview versions, instructions, licensing and development-support information, and training materials. As an open-source project, Race Horology welcomes contributions from developers, testers, and people who can improve its documentation.
