Racecheck is a race event search website created by running enthusiasts Alexandros and Katerina Tanti. The platform was born out of their personal experience with a badly organized triathlon in rural Japan, where they faced numerous issues from the lack of marshals and course indications to the aid stations running out of water. Instead of receiving a finisher's medal or a t-shirt, they were given a bag of rice.

This led them to establish Racecheck, a platform that aims to help participants find events worth their time and money, while providing constructive feedback to organizers for improvement. Racecheck serves as a Trustpilot for sport, allowing participants to read past feedback and reviews about events before making a decision. The platform not only benefits participants but also offers advantages to organizers by increasing sales and traffic.
